orienteering race 31:00 [4] 4.0 km (7:45 / km) +80m 7:03 / km

VIP race - Wuoc. Mass start just after the WUOC relay ended. Only four women participating, mostly men on the line (coaches, physios, team leaders officials). So much FUN! Full race speed towards number 1 which felt far. I had a fight with an Austrian,Lithuanian leader. Came to the finish well ahead of the head Official of FISU. Very fast terrain with some negative contours.
Every race here was very different. Great training. Need a rest day now.

orienteering race 42:44 [4] 3.6 km (11:52 / km) +100m 10:25 / km

Middle - WUOC tour, felt very tired and slow today. Emma Johansson got me on number 2 and that's the last time I saw her. Hilly, partly green and rocky. Had some trouble towards the end between rocks. Very nice course. Forest very similar to CZE, felt like home. Few people behind me in the results.
3.6*1.5=5.4

orienteering race 20:00 [4] 2.6 km (7:42 / km)

Sprint - Wuoc Tour spectator race in the town of Borlange. Fun map with a historic village and small gullies at the end. Started one minute before one of the Swedish stars and did not see her all the way till control number 8. That means I did really fast the first part and got very tired in the second half. Made at least half a minute mistake and maybe not the best route choice at the end.
2.6*1.5=3.9

running 10:00 [1] 1.0 km (10:00 / km)

Warm-up to the start

orienteering race 1:13:00 [3] 5.4 km (13:31 / km) +150m 11:52 / km

First spectator race at WUOC in W21. My first race in Sweden since O-ringen 1998. Was very tired in the afternoon and did not feel like running at all. Had some difficulties to get into the map, but finished the course and did not get completely lost. Slow running in the soft moss and marshes. The zone of uncertainty was pretty large a few times. Had a lot of fun watching the Canadian team finishing. Carol did very well in this crazy technical terrain. Sprint is coming tomorrow.
5.4*1.5=8.5
