Yoga 1:45:00 [1]
slept:7.0 shoes: Barefoot

Everyone either hungover or exhausted. Slow session.

Thursday Dec 3, 2009 #

cycling (commute) 28:30 [3] 8.5 km (17.9 kph)
shoes: Giant Hybrid

Gah. Had nothing. Pushed the bike up the Success Hill Station footbridge. Called a colleague at Collier St to inform them that I was dead and would therefore be late to work.

cycling (commute) 22:13 [3] 8.5 km (23.0 kph)
shoes: Giant Hybrid

Bleargh.

Physio (hips) 27:00 [1]
shoes: Barefoot

Juffy bribed me with hot chocolate to do my physio instead of going straight to bed.

Juffy is smart.

Note

Intended commute ride foiled by failure to put office clothes in the car. Upon returning home to get them, was stung by a bee.

Drove all the way to work, on the offchance that my bee allergy decided to rear its head again. Having a very mild reaction this time, just a few hives on the torso and a balloon toe.

Timely reminder to get a new epipen.

Water Walk 31:28 [1] 1.25 km (25:10 / km)
shoes: Swan Aquatic

500m walking
500m high knees jogging
250m backwards

Trying my most awesomely hardest I managed to get my heart rate up to 124. Couldn't get it above 105 when walking. I might still be a little exhausted.

Swimming 5:31 [3] 0.2 km (27:35 / km)

Tried a bit of swimming and gave up promptly when I decided I'd really rather drown that keep going.

Perhaps anymore exercise can wait until tomorrow.

walk/shuffle (C25K W1xx) 29:06 [3] 3.25 km (8:57 / km)
shoes: Asics 1140 size 10

Skipped yoga and went for a C25K Week 1 run with Juffy. Bounced around the park and mostly kept up with his much longer legs - except in the upslope sections, where I had to keep jogging for quite a while to catch up with him.

Really enjoyed it and have no pain in knees or calf-muscles or achilles. Clearly taking it easy on grass is good way to get back into running.

Monday Nov 30, 2009 #

cycling (commute) 27:13 [2] 8.5 km (18.7 kph)
slept:4.5 shoes: Giant Hybrid

Still exhausted and sleep deprived. Took it very easy.

cycling 22:07 [4] 8.5 km (23.1 kph)
shoes: Giant Hybrid

Started out slow and casual again, but soon warmed up to 'normal' pace and had a good run through the road and rail crossings.

Tired now.
