Very tired and flat today. Sinky and drowny. Not enough sleep and definitely not enough food yesterday.

Shoulders particularly tired today and took it easy. Also only did half the bridges on the ball, did the rest with both feet on the floor - I'd forgotten how much easier that is.

Did the whole set of glute med exercises for the first time in about three weeks. Wow. OK. Maintained almost no strength there. Back on the 'every time' rotation. No wonder my knees have been slowly dying again.

Felt all inspired after watching the road racing in Geelong and jumped on the bike. Enthusiasm lasted until I got onto the driveway and felt the wind. Nasty crosswind headwind1 the whole way. Knees started complaining around South St and really started to whinge around Armadale Rd.

Still, really enjoyed being on the bike in the sunshine.

1. Just looked at BOM - SSW and S at 20 km/h gusting to 40km/h. No wonder it was so much harder than I expected.

Felt very average this morning, but the prospect of jogging in what may be the last bit of rain we get for the year was too nice to resist.

Trotted very slowly about the park and had a couple of patches of 20 seconds or so where I felt good, but mostly just plodded and got my enjoyment form the smell of lemon and eucalyptus and watching huge German Sheppard puppies wrestling each other.

Heart rate data for the first 10 minutes or so is complete junk.

Note

New goggles today. Had a pair of Tyr goggles that were in a gift-y bag thing given by Beattie Park for going to an event where they also fed me ice-cream and wine. *shrug*

They are awesome goggles that fit perfectly, didn't fog at all and are pleasingly tinted, which is becoming more of an issue in the outdoor pools as the days get a bit longer.

ETA - which of course means that these are the perfect goggles for me and I will never be able to find out what they were. Dammit.

3. When happy again commence jogging again.
