Cycling 13:30 [4]
shoes: Trainers 2008-2010

Victoria White's dissertation test thing, so I was a lab rat. Had to do some tests, cycle to exhaustion, then do them again. Cycling was easy at first, then as the resistance was added, it got really tough, but it was more tough on my thighs than my breathing. Was still pretty knackered when I couldn't pedal the weight's no more.

Running 1:01:40 [3] 13.0 km (4:45 / km)
shoes: Trainers 2008-2010

Went for a run after the test. My cv again felt fine, but my legs were struggling from the off, and got slower and slower. Had no flow at all, but on the plus side, it was my first training in daylight, and sunshine at that, for a long time!

Tried my run from Pleasance - Holyrood - seafront and back up Leith Walk and Calton Hill then Pleasance. Unfortunately I got lost in some housing after Holyrood Park and kept weaving through different estates, before eventually coming out at the bottom of Leith Walk. Slow slow slow...

Shortest km 4.16 coming off Calton Hill, longest 5.59 up Calton Hill.

Lots of stretching in the gym afterwards.

Cirkelträning 1:10:00 [3]
shoes: Trainers 2008-2010

Got to circuits 10 minutes early, so had 19 mins on the bike to warm up. Also did rowing and running in the circuits. It's now mini circuits, and with it being a couple of weeks since I last went I was struggling a bit, good session though.

Running 50:21 [3] 11.25 km (4:29 / km)
shoes: Trainers 2008-2010

That same run as the last couple of weeks again around Edinburgh. Went of pretty easy, but then was feeling pretty good so pushed harder for the rest. Slowest km of 4.40, fastest of 4.10, depending on climb I guess. Chest was a bit tight but think it was the cold air. Stopped below Blackford hill for a minute to help give someone directions, which is included in the time (5.19 for that km). So would have just beaten my pb.
