Running warm up/down 10:00 [2] 1.5 km (6:40 / km)
shoes: Olway 2007

Warm up before the long.

Orienteering race (JK Classic) 1:45:48 [5] *** 15.9 km (6:39 / km) +520m 5:43 / km
spiked:24/31c shoes: Olway 2007

JK Classic, M21E, Braunton Burrows. Really good run, lost tiny bits of time in control circles at 8, 11, 20, 25. Caught in brambles at 21. Then was totally dead by the small loop at the end and lost ~3 on 2 controls here. Obvious my fitness was at fault, but i'm still happy with the race overall! 32nd, 30th overall.

Running warm up/down 25:00 [1] 3.5 km (7:09 / km)
shoes: Olway 2007

Had a jog from the car to the bus, a bit around the field, then to the start. Warm down around the field after.

Orienteering race (JK Middle) 37:36 [5] *** 5.5 km (6:50 / km) +125m 6:08 / km
spiked:21/23c shoes: Olway 2007

JK Middle Distance, M21E, Cookworthy Forest. Really good run, one silly mistake at the end punching the wrong control and heading to the last control before going back. Wouldn't have happened if I bought a descriptions holder... Very muddy. 29th.

Running warm up/down 5:00 [1] 0.5 km (10:00 / km)
shoes: Karrimor Trainers

Run from the car to the start, just making it, then back to the car after.

Orienteering race (JK Sprint) 20:24 [4] *** 3.2 km (6:22 / km)
spiked:21/24c shoes: Karrimor Trainers

JK Sprint, M21E, Bicton College. Rosalind's flight was delayed, so after finally getting the car and driving to the race, then running straight to my start I arrived as I was in the second box. Had road flats on, oops, so was never going to be able to run fast as it was constant mud. Slipped on the way to 4, then missed 5. Basically gave up on racing but finished the course. The main event begins tomorrow!

Cycling 42:00 [1]
shoes: Trainers 2008-2010

I wouldn't call it cycling, more moving my legs round just to loosen them. Heart rate didn't get above 90.

Note
(rest day)

Well it was supposed to be a rest day.... but spent it shopping in town. Tougher than the Trossachs, without a doubt!
