Finally a long run!!!! Casey and I hit the poto today! We started out on the normal trail but took the first shortcut. I also took the new trail at the 2.5 mark that bypasses the blind lake campground. I ran very carefully making sure I watch my foot placement. I stayed upright. I felt great the entire way. Not many people were on the trail. Even though we've had a ton of wind and rain the trail was in awesome shape. My left leg still feels a bit weak but other than that my legs even felt good.

We have had so much rain I could have swam in the yard this morning! Instead I chose to run on the TM. It took me a while to get into a groove and feeling okay. I also had a nice headache to go along with my run.

Pouring rain this morning! Headed for the basement to get this out of the way. I did .25 flat @ 4.0 and then cranked it up to 13% @ 4.0 for the remainder of the time. This went by fast this morning.

I had enough time this morning to go from the truck to Wallace Rd. and back today. Casey and I thought we should since the sun is shining for a change! I was finally able to wear shorts too! about 35* and a light breeze. I felt okay except that they graded the road yesterday which means loose rocks everywhere. My left leg still feels weak but other than that things were okay.

Grabbed Casey and headed out the door since we have some brief sunshine this morning but headed for rain the rest of the week! Feeling okay. My left leg is still feeling really weak. Started out walking and then picked it up. Ran from the truck to the bridge and back. It was chilly when I started but I guess I practiced some warmer conditions since I was way over dressed today and sweating buckets by the time I finished! My face was still red 30 mins after I ran!
