Super cold out today. Headed to the basement and hopped on the tm. I decided to mix things up a bit. My tm must have a gremlin living in it. I am not used to how this tm functions yet. I set the workout for intervals but my tm had a different idea. For the slow run part it also put the incline up to 3%. I discovered this halfway thru the intervals. Oh well it felt fine and it wasn't all that hard.

15 mins Wu @4.0
30 min intervals:
3 min flat @ 4.0
3 mins @3% incline @ 5.4
15 min cd flat @ 4.0

Dogs and I went to torn shirt today. The wind chills were in the single digits the entire time the wind was screaming and it was snowing pretty hard. Since this is a cut back week I decided this would be a good option. Its a twisty turny hilly trail and not flat smooth or easy. It took Dakota a couple of miles to figure out single track. Since he would go the wrong way around the trees. Its been a year since ive been out here. Lots of trees were down from last weeks storm. Also I had tricky footing with snow and leaves on the ground. I was ready to be done near the end. I was frozen!

Got on the TM and went with it. I feel pretty good! I still have some leg pain and stretched it when I got done. Today didn't feel as hard as last week.

10 mins. flat @ 4.0
25 mins @ 10% @ 3.8 HR was between 140-144 consistently
10 mins flat @ 4.0

Followed by 10 ab rollers

Hopped on and went for a spin this morning. Nothing special but did do a hard standing hill climb for 5 mins in the middle of the workout.

Hopped on the TM and did some super easy intervals. Feeling really good but my left leg is still really weak.

Okay I'm making this week a kick back week. I woke up yesterday to some awesome quad soreness! Going down the stairs was a huge challenge and getting up from my desk to walk made me feel like peg leg. I took a rest day yesterday to let the soreness settle down a bit. Got on the spin bike today and basically did an easy spin with a few hard uphills thrown in. I kept my HR between 140-150 the whole time.
