Hiking 7:00:00 [3] 17.0 km (24:42 / km) +800m 20:00 / km

Hiking with Ben, Étienne and Sonia at Sentier des Caps going East this time. We were pretty lucky cause it was the last weekend before they closed the trail for the snow melting period (??? only in Québec!). I was the only one with snowshoes and the others were having a really hard time stepping through the snow every 3 steps or so in some sections. The snow was wet because of the heat we've had in the past weeks, but the weather was getting cold again and it snowed all day, so it was a mix of all things. We stayed at the refuge more than an hour to get warmer by the stove and eat. We didn't have a view, but the "in" view (trees with the snow falling) was beautiful and it was nice to have the whole forest to ourselves.

6:00:00 [2] 20.0 km (18:00 / km)

We walked from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm looking for apartments (with stops here and there and to eat). I'm putting it as training because it really felt like a hiking day: walking forever with up and down hills. We found a really nice place in the Montcalm area. We're still really close to the plains, but on the other side.

Biking long 1:15:00 [4] 26.0 km (2:53 / km) +100m 2:50 / km

First bike ride of the year. We biked to les chutes Montmorency against such a strong wind, I almost fell off my bike a couple of times. It's a slow constant up hill. Going back the wind was in our backs and we were going down hill so it was pretty fast.

Spinning 30:00 [3]
ahr:155 max:170

Tried to train on the bike, but I kept being interupted. Got a phone call for the first 15 min. Then Greenpeace was at my door and they just wouldn't leave. I gave up after 30 min. Not such a good workout.

Running 37:00 [4] 6.5 km (5:42 / km) +40m 5:31 / km

Ran 3 loops on the plains against a really hard wind, it almost felt like I wasn't moving.
