Orienteering race 17:50 [5] 2.1 km (8:30 / km)

Sprint JWOC trial

Cool, complex map round the cemetry. Slow on first two controls as I tried to get my bearings, but this served me well in that I didn't really make a mistake untill the second half. Felt pretty good, but wasn't an amazing race, a few mistakes in the (easier) 2nd half. Finished 3rd overall, seemed to be a case of who screwed up the least did well.

Orienteering race 43:00 [4]

Mid Distance Trail. Crap. Feel off a bank into the river 2mins in and lost concentration and my map. Got a bit put off by the bush a think, really struggled to get through the vines and accros the streams, so took some terrible route choices- in particular one accross farm-land when I should have taken a track

Orienteering long 1:24:00 [5]

Long race, through similar terrain to yesterday just on a larger scale. Bush sections dispersed amongst the farmland. Was really happy overall, it was a brutal race in which the hills never seemed to end. Longer endurance runs definitely helped over the hour mark.

Sprint distance at Green Bay, felt pretty good, but a bit slow on the run

yoga class with Jula. Surprisingly painful, though nice to actually do some stretching. We struggled (and failed) to keep a straight face though when they started to do alternate nostril breathing with OOOMM sounds haha, i blame the lack of oxygen
