Skate Ski race (BIRKIE) 2:33:00 [4]

I LOVE THE BIRKIE. Three minutes too slow for elite wave but who cares. Most fun race ever. Felt awesome until I tried to go fast at 45k but pushed through it and did pretty respectably. Won the second wave. Arches hurt so bad i couldn't walk after but got better fairly quickly.

Pretty good race. Solidly in 4th the whole race until side ache at 8.5k. Then had to work pretty damn hard to hold 4th. I think I did hold 4th even though the results say otherwise. Oh well, fun race nonetheless.

Nice long warm up with 3 minutes at ANT and a couple of 1.5 min RP. Felt heavy so did a few extra pickups.

5.8k race. Felt pretty good considering how heavy I felt in the warm up. Super fun race. Stuck with the lead group until the very end.
