Baker Beach Rd.-Herman Cape-Cape Mountain, loop. 2,152'

13.63 miles @ 8:22 avg. pace
.5 mile walk CD

I was super tired today and didn't feel like running. I met up with one of my athletes to get her in some endurance/strength running. Managed to find a groove after the 4 mile climb to the peak and ran comfortable to the end. Actually felt really good to get out but now I need to recharge the mental batteries before Hagg this weekend. Lots of work between now and the move to Bend in a couple weeks.

Shevlin Upper to lower

Nice run with Ken and Rod out at Shevlin. As expected the first 4-5 miles felt like a lung burner being up a little higher elevation but it's nice to attach on to some runners to keep me strong. Once my lungs opened up and found a nice stride I felt really comfortable to the end.

shoes: Brooks Pure Connect

Dreadmill

40' @ 7:16 pace
2' walk CD

I figured out why I was feeling fatigued and sweating as if I was going to die. I made a complaint about no air circulation in the gym and then they say that the HVAC system is being repaired. No wonder why I'm going through 2 bottles of water in 40 minutes and sweating hard in a tank and shorts. I was running in a sauna!

Run 31:27 [2] 4.0 mi (7:52 / mi) +227ft 7:28 / mi
shoes: Pearl Izumi Peak II

Shevlin lower & upper

Needed to stretch the legs out after the drive out to Bend. Hit Shevlin which is pretty muddy.

What a clusterf*uck! I was feeling really tired today. I though I'd shake it so went forward with training anyway. It was raining hard out so I hit the gym. There was no air circulation in the gym and was sweating so heavily I thought I was going to pass out. Tried hitting the road after but I was out of juice. Just bagged it after.

Note
(rest day)

No soreness or tightness and can walk just fine but went into a jog and I can feel it a tad. Running would probably be ok but taking a day off and hit it tomorrow since there was no opportunity to run in the afternoon/evening.
