Pleasant paddle with Peter on Lake Burley Griffen in the western basin. Nice sunny weather and by the time we got to the lake the wind had dropped off a lot. Fitted in a coffee afterwards at the nearby bakery to help recovery.

road cycling 1:00:00 [3] 20.0 km (3:00 / km)

Rode the MTB to see Liz at rowing then back home - easy ride - recovery after yesterday's run. Distance/time a guesstimate. Needed to use the cylinder of death a few times today to help with post race recovery after wearing new shoes on the run!

Also saw the 4 front runners in today's Canberra marathon - they had about two kms to go - and the gap between each was at least 300 metres so no sprint finish this year. (Took the opportunity to see them after dropping Liz off at a marathon run drink station that her rowing club was looking after).
