Strength test. Tough. Did great on pull-ups and box jumps. Disappointed with the sit-ups. Pretty much died on the dips though. No longer 2nd weakest guy on the team!

Roller Skiing race (Strand TT) 28:22 [5] 9.0 km (3:09 / km)

Had to do the TT on my own time after work. Wanted to try and go hard the entire time, and see how well I could hold on Strand. One skated everything except strand, an improvement from last year. Last 1/4 of strand hurt, but at the top was able to get back into one skate. Ended up 2nd on the team, and almost 1.5 minutes faster than last year. Although I did have a little bit better roller skis this year which helps out quite a bit.

Uphill TT. Went pretty well. Started out pretty strong. The first part of the course was not as hilly and it was on ski trails so it was easier to go hard there. Once we hit the singletrack, Paul passed me pretty quickly. I tried to stick with him, but he was on cruise control. I tried to keep a high pace the rest of the way, but died a little in the last km or so. Finished 2nd, only 9 sec back from paul...but it was probably closer to 30 or so cause Paul took a wrong turn closer to the finish line.

Pretty crappy night of sleep so I skipped morning practice to try and get a bit of rest before the Max VO2 test tonight.

Running 12:00 intensity: (2:00 @1) + (2:00 @2) + (2:00 @3) + (3:00 @4) + (3:00 @5) 2.5 km (4:48 / km)

Max VO2 test, felt good, but I think that I will have to redo it unfortunately. HR's did not record right so going to have to make it up next week.
