Hike over leg 1 of BGR and return. Didn't summit Blencathra due to time (wanted to get back for start of RM's BGR) Took it easy on the flats and descent and put effort into the climbs. Legs were tired from the onset.

Moderate run to hill, then x6 reps, 15', moderate run home. Legs tired and really had to work hard to keep any kind of decent pace. Simply have not recovered enough yet from last weekend.
Upper body strengthening and extended stretching on legs.

Easy run to work. All ok, feeling generally tired no DOMS and little soreness nearly dissipated. Some tightness in legs but stretching is loosing it up.

Run home, ran to feel for first 25 mins and then monitored pace last 15 (ish). Felt I was running faster than I actually had been. Legs still feeling tired. Ankle ok. Still strapped for support.
Road Run Easy (easy) 48:05 [1] 5.14 mi (9:21 / mi) slept:8.0 shoes: Nike Zoom Vomero8
Easy run, some soreness and pretty tired legs, however moving ok. Ankle strapped. No pain on running or walking, wouldn't last long on uneven ground though. Feeling post race fatigue, generally physically and mentally.
Ankle sore, legs tired, so completed a 16 mile cycle, no issues with legs on bike, would have struggled to run on ankle, iced it and strapped in order to give it chance to rest. Looking forward to an easy run tomorrow.
