Race race (Getafe half/Road) 1:34:50 [5] 13.27 mi (7:09 / mi) +150m 6:54 / mi
slept:7.0 shoes: Adidas Boston Boost

Getafe half marathon. Felt tired physically, on the start line and anxious as I had no idea how I was going to perform. I'd had maybe a sub 1.30 (which should be well within my grasp) in the back of my mind which would have made a PB. First three miles felt great, then the wheels fell off.
Splits:
6.36, 6.34, 6.57, 7'07, 7'11, 7'22, 7'24, 7'26, 7'31,7'25, 7'05, 7'18, 7'03, 1'55

miles 6-10 really struggled, battling with just remaining in the race, managed to pull myself out of it for the last few miles and pushed to the end, however too much work to do with way too little time. Felt heavy and think this mindset was the cause of the struggle. Legs felt ok until the last few miles when I was pushing, they began to get sore then. However just felt like I was carrying a 10kg backpack and aerobically simply hadn't got it. Really disappointed again, however it's motivated me to get back into putting more effort into my training sessions rather than them being 'just good enough'
