Running 40:00 [1] 6.0 km (6:40 / km)
shoes: Inov-8 Mudclaw 'O' 330

Had planned on doing a long run early this morning, but woke up with a very bleeding nose so left it a bit. My nose started bleeding again at about 11am, so I waited until after the European cross country had finished at 2.30pm to go out. Got about 10mins in when my nose started bleeding agian even worse, it got very heavy down by holy rood palace so I turned back. Had to use my gloves to stop the blood from going everywhere, it wasnt a nice sight. My gloves were wrecked so I lobbed them in a bin, so expect a full blown man hunt when my bloody gloves are found ;-)

Running 25:23 [4] 6.6 km (3:51 / km)
shoes: Nike Air Zoom Waffle XC

East District XC Champs at Stirling Uni. Dont know the time yet as results aint up yet. I knew it was a long course and extreme weather, very strong wind and rain, so I decided not to beast away at the start. Sat in for the first lap or so then picked it up as I went through the lap. Felt very strong and comfortable on the 2nd lap and got to within 100m of my mate who was 90s ahead of me at Kirkaldy.

Ended up 23rd but 9th in the 1st year U17s. Was 4mins down on the guy from Mark's school who won, which aint bad as he's the top in britain for U17. Reckon I got a bit more in me still. Lookin forward to the next XC which aint until next year :(

Running tempo 25:30 [4] 5.9 km (4:19 / km) +30m 4:13 / km
shoes: Saucony Grid Omni 5 Moderate

Route:http://www.sanoodi.com/route/tom-r/112335/oompa-lo...

Started off easy, downhill with the wind behind me, but had to work hard on the hill on the way up. Felt very strong and comfortable until the last km where I had to work a bit harder. Wind was very strong on the way back. Decided to stay on the tarmac and focus on good, comfortable running.

Running 35:00 [2] 6.5 km (5:23 / km)
shoes: Saucony Grid Omni 5 Moderate

Route:http://www.sanoodi.com/route/tom-r/111943/shoo-bup...

Not strictly road running as I ran along the beach and over some of the rockpools by Joppa aswell. Felt quite faint on the long uphill home.

The sand made it very slow going.
