Running long 55:40 [5] 9.17 km (6:04 / km)
shoes: Inov8 F-Lite 195 (Black)

After a bit more course setting I went to Blackbutt reserve to make up the rest of the distance for my long run. Garmin measured it much slower then my target, I think part of this was the fact that it was and the other part due to poor satellite reception under the thick trees (for instance a sign saying 1.2km, was about 800m on my watch and another saying 800m was about 400m, may have been a mixture of circumstances), and having to do a fair few doublebacks after running along a bush track that led nowhere... or into someones backyard. Lots of climb pretty much the whole way, and the downhills didn't really help because they were generally too steep for comfort or had become streams from the water.

Did another few km at Glendale and then some 100m's and felt absolutely exhausted. Took me quite a while to get up off the muddy ground afterwards. Haven't felt so exhausted from training in a long time. Spose that's the difference between bush and road. Plus running about an hour longer then usual (even if not further).

Thanks to the Blatchfords for taking me in for the weekend! Getting on to the map helps a lot with the course setting decisions :)

Running tempo 30:00 [5] 7.52 km (3:59 / km) +40m 3:53 / km

Slower then I was hoping, but still I managed to keep it under 4min/km for once, even though I had already pretty much died 3km in. Maybe a total of 40m climb (looking at the street o map), not much, but it can take off that few secs per km pretty quickly.

Running (6x1min) 11:00 [3] 3.0 km (3:40 / km)
shoes: Waffles

Nearly killed myself round one corner, lucky I regained balance.

Weather on my warm down was perfect running weather, a nice light mist, still too hot in my jumper though.

Kung Fu 1:00:00 [3]

Running (Windsprints) 19:00 [4] 5.0 km (3:48 / km)
ahr:171 shoes: Inov8 F-Lite 195 (Black)

Took me ages to get motivated to go out into the rain, although honestly once I started I just felt like a badass running through all the puddles/swamp/flooding. Decided not to wear my spikes so I didn't tear up the track to much, it was pretty swampy though. Was kinda interesting seeing the difference in the creek height going from my warm up to my warm down, cause one road went from waterless to creating huge splashes as the cars drove through, and I assume now to closed. Also went through some calf deep stuff which was fun. Good having the running excuse to jump in some puddles!
Surprised that my time was better then a few weeks ago when the track was in pretty much perfect condition but it was just hot.

Honestly though have good footing, and it's perfect running weather!

The track yesterday.

What the track was actually like today. The other photo is actually from a few years back.

Really struggled with my breathing today, usually its my legs. Noticed it last night at swimming too. Kinda what's meant to happen, but I think it's more just a bug.
