Had a sore back for a couple of days so taking it easy. Hoping for some more skiing later this week.

Still good skiing at Durand despite rain and warm weather last week. The sun even came out for a while.

Green course at Ironwood Picnic area. All the controls were in ditches and stream beds with almost no other contour lines on the map. A real test of pace and compass skills. After a shaky start on first three did OK the rest of the way. More than half the others on green were DNFs. Pretty tricky stuff with lots of cactus on the ground. Only had to use the tweezers once to get a thorn out of my big toe.

A real fun week in Tucson with beautiful weather the entire time.

Short Goat in Tucson. Interesting course with two boxes and a line o at the end of the course. Ran with a group until # 5 an then decided to skip # 5 and run on my own. Lost a few minutes on # 7 looking to low in the hillside and everyone caught up. Wanted to skip #13 , but had already used my skip on #5 so lost about five minutes on the group. Fun event and nice terrain.

Green course at Catalina State Park. A few small mistakes but otherwise OK. Another day with clear blue skies and temps in the 70s.

Green course in Tucson. Pretty clean run with one poor route choice, A little warm, but not about to complain.

Run along the river (dry at the moment) in Phoenix. Temp in the high 70s with a few clouds and low humidity. Visited a Frank Lloyd Wright house in the morning and had a very interesting tour.
