Run 1: 1:45:00 - 2hr long run of any type you can get in while in Turkey. Ran along the sea in Istanbul and then back through the street of the town. Stopped at an old mosque on the way back originally built about 500 AD as a church. Scenic run and interesting to see Istanbul slowly waking up on a Sunday morning.

Run 3: 1hr hilly "comfortably hard" run, either on roads or trails. Should be about the same effort as run 2 but the pace will vary a lot more. (Probably did not really do this as a hard run but did do part of the seaside of Istanbul and then up some pretty steep hills to come back via the covered bazaar and along the historic section of the city.)

Run 2: Flat marathon paced (or marathon effort is a better description) steady-state run on flat/rolling terrain. Do a 5:00 warmup and then run 50:00 at aprox 8:50 pace.
