Discussion: Sisters...

There is a Strider training run on the 7 Sisters course this coming weekend. Any intel on ice conditions on the ridge? Figured I'd ask so I can pass the info along re: spikes, kahtoolas etc..

Well, who knows what it's like now (after getting a few inches of snow), but it was mostly clear the other day when I was up there. Few ice patches in the shadow between rocks, but nothing worth wearing spikes for. Great running actually!

When are the Striders going to be out there? I'm headed to the Notch tomorrow at 9am for a training run, would love to see some of you out on the trails! :)

A group of Striders in ultra training mode were planning on Sunday at 9am. Though recent activity may well change those plans..

We have 10-12" here, and it's pretty much stopped coming down. Heavy wet stuff though... Looks like roads for me this weekend...

Usually after it snows, it takes about a day before folks pack it out...so it was great this weekend! It's the warmer days (when you can get ice) that you need to be careful up there.
