Discussion: It rained?

Just goes to show how things go to crap when I leave a place.

It was pretty surreal. At night, there were whistling and wailing winds, and what one might have thought sounded like rain. In the morning, the sky was cloudy, and there was evidence of precipitation around a few trees, but we still could not believe that it rained--maybe they water trees down in Borrego Springs? But then it started drizzling very fine, "large-mist-sized" rain drops, and continued to rain through the morning, accompanying us all the way to San Diego.

Actually, those were tears from heaven, because Cristina had left.

I'm waiting for the part where you explain that they were tears of joy.
