im planning to bring a group of UConn students interested in trying orienteering to this meet.

im doing so by leading an outing club trip. went to their meeting tonight and offered to lead a trip to Rocky Woods. already got a handful of people to sign up, im hoping to get a few more.

would anyone be interested in helping me with instruction? also, is there any way that i could rent a few compasses for them to use?

anyone know how much will it cost non-members to get a map, punch card, etc?

The entry fee is $6, and there is also a park fee, which I think is $3. We have compasses and can provide instruction. I don't think there's a compass rental fee.

Also bring them to the WCOC Sessions Woods meet on Oct 19. Entry fee is also $6, no parking fee, and we'll be sure to make plenty of trainers available for instruction. We'll have e-punching and plenty of compasses to borrow. It's in Burlington CT, northeast of Hartford.
