I tried to get the best possible position in the beginning, but the pace was too fast and the price was paid in the top of the first hill. I catched the back of Vehkalahden Veikot and followed that one to the top, but then my legs were so tired that I was forced to walk a bit and the position fell rapidly.

In the beginning we had a mass start with forkings. 4 controls and about 1km. Good going, a bit faster than Aleksi, Philipp and Seppo. Then some orienteering warm down with Philipp.

Still taking it easy and running did feel already better. Of course the speed was very slow, but tomorrow's Yökuppi will tell more..

The whole week will be preparing for 10mila. The goal is to rest as much as possible and at Wednesday evening to check out the feeling. Hopefully in the 10mila the running would be like in Henna's Yökuppi.

My own 10mila goal is under 1h in the first leg. Hopefully even better!!
