2 hour backcountry ski in the new powder from Denny Creek TH to who knows where. Fun stuff

1:40 run on the Menan Butte near Idaho Falls. A neat little butte that resulted from a volcanic eruption 10,000 years ago. A trail goes around the rim and down to the bottom of the crater, maybe about 700 or 800 feet in elevation change from the base to the top of the rim. Climbed and descended 4 times plus the general climb of the trail along the rim. Very dry, desert landscape that doesn't get much snow during the winter means bone dry trails.

Spent about 90 minutes out-and-back on rd # 209/237 in the gravelly range. Maybe ran for a little over half that time. Felt really light-headed for first 20 minutes and steph's stomach was bothering her.
