Woooo beginning-of-season time trial! Planned on running right around 12 minutes, since I did a 12:20-something a few weeks ago. Then it was really windy, my legs had that tight burning feeling you get when you ride your bike too much, and I ran the whole race by myself. So 12:05 was very satisfying.

Since I was running on effort, plan was to guess a slightly-slower-than average pace for the first few laps and then speed up from there. Thanks to Ed for taking splits:

Had a bit too much at the end, but it was a rust-buster, didn't really know my pace, etc. Anyway, I'd say I'm within striking distance of a 3k PR this season!
