Biking (Mtn Bike on Road) 5:15:00 [3] 89.0 km (17.0 kph)

Just wanted to get out and get some miles on the saddle. Went from Downtown Toronto to Pickering (farthest point was Brock and Taunton) and then back. I was in my full AR gear with a full pack and 4 litres of water, so some of the looks I got in city were hilarious. About 4 hours in was when my fuel started running low and the hamstrings were screeming. Might have pushed too hard out of the gate. Way out felt amazing, which is why I got so far out so quickly. Had to change a flat tire at corner of Steels and Beare Rd, close to the zoo. Grabbed an soft serve ice cream at Ash Bridges Bay on the way back!

Double_downon11 was in the city on business, so I jogged over to his hotel for a morning run along the waterfront. Great pace and good chat - it always helps to have someone to run with. Lots of people out this morning to escape the heat and huidity that is bound to build up during the day.

Paddle (Kayakercise) 1:36:00 [3]

Checked out the kayakercise program down at harbourfront on Lake O with teammates on Untamed Torpedo as well as Squirt. It was my first time in the harbour on such a small watercraft. Lots of fun, good views of the city skyline, choppy waters, and some much needed instruction on form and technique from Angry Seagull.
