Really missed being at SSR today so escondido and I headed to Gatineau and ran up the road that runs up along Camp Fortune to the radio tower. I managed to do 3 hill repeats. The first one I had to walk a bit but the last two I ran all the way up.

3 sets of bosu ball workout. Normally includes burpees and mountain climbers in exercises but left them out today. Neck has been pretty sore the past three days so just did lower body exercises in workout and added a few more lunges of my own.

Don't feel that great this morning so decided against the tabata I had planned and instead did some yoga after escondido went to work. I am finding these morning workouts really help me stay focused during the day and I like that I've already accomplished something before starting work. Depending on how I feel, might do a tabata at lunch.

started at level 5 for 5 min then switched to level 6. Alternated like that for 30 mins total.

A little bit faster this time. For 20mins, I ran speed 6.5 for 2 mins, then speed 7.0 for one minute. Alternating until I reached 20mins. Then kept at 7.0 until I reached 22:30 and I only had one km left. Ran at 7.5 for 500m and then 8.0 for 500m.

1 set of w.d.a.w. tonight. Felt nauseous so only did one set instead of 2.

2 sets of leg exercises this morning in gym. Felt better than last week. Knees and hips have stopped cracking as much with the leg exercises and stretching I've been doing. Still feel a bit weaker on my left side though.

Went up to the northern part of Gatineau Park today. Has been so long since we've been up there! Wasn't sure what to expect on the trails given how slippery it is on the sidewalks but we were pretty lucky. Snow was hard packed in some areas and quite deep in others. Mixture of hiking/running in both shoes and snowshoes. So glad to finally be outside after being stuck to the gym this week. Knees and hips felt good.
