5 min @ zero incline 1min @ 6% incline. Pace 9:50.

Easy/recovery 1:20:00 [3] 6.0 mi (13:20 / mi)

Ran trails. Felt like I ran 10 miles. Totally hooked on trail running. It's hard but fun!

15 min w/u @ 9:30 pace
6 1:30 surges@ 7:30 pace
15 min c/d 9:37 pace

W/p and c/d were the hard part of this. Body sluggish after long runs but the surges went great and was able to easily recover between surges.

Cloudy and not as hot- 77 deg at start.
Atr 1/2 plain toasted bagel, 6 oz caffeinated coffee and pre -run energy drink. Stomach felt sloshy. Had to stop 3-4 times for bathroom breaks.

Run hard today and with the stops it felt chopped up.
Overall, though, ran better than I thought I would.
Great combination of 2 2 HR runs.
