Well just took the swim easy and consistency meant I was fairly on track most of the time. Going with markers on left was weird. Good 1:00 running from lake to transition area.
14th/185 Overall in the swim.

Cycling race (Road) 47:37 [4] 27.0 km (1:46 / km)

Big headwind on the way out. Thought i was just slow until I had a tailwind for some of it. No flat this year so I'm happy. Binto box helped and not near as much traffic. I had a distance of 28.5 or so but that was like last year... Anyways felt pretty good.
11th/185 Overall on bike.

Another hot run! Need to brick more. I hate grass... I felt sick for the middle bit and finally belched really loud and was able to run halfway decent but with only 1K to go... young guy passed me with 5 meters left. Didn't hear him...
18th/185 Overall on the run.

11th/185 Overall finish and 3rd/18 in my agegroup. Thea has been wearing the medal all afternoon. Not a bad race but, of course all the hardcore guys were up in Muskoka! :)

FInal Time 1:35:40. T1=1:38 T2=:50

Bricked the run at a fast pace and felt pretty good. Ran on grass as much as possible b/c tomorrow a lot of the course is on grass. Reminded me grass gets hot... :|

5 minutes hard...3 minutes easier.. 2 minutes hard. Swam right after the run.

Legs were back today for the most part or maybe it was just b/c I was going for just 1/2hr but rode at a good tempo. Started @ 5:10am... Stupid cyclometer - going to figure it for real. Worked hard and looks like I'm a turtle...Anaerobic Endurance. :(

Swam in the pool immediately following the run and a good speed 10min. to get in groove. Swam at 8:40pm.

Up @ 5:00am watching the Hour... very tired this morning. Just chose a gear I could maintain 90rpms which wasn't very high.

Got The Triathlete Training Bible yesterday and started reading last night. Seems I'm doing periodic training as I prepare for Mussleman and didn't even know it. One more big volume week then taper with intensity. Should peak at just right time... how cool is that?

Unless of course if this theory doesn't apply to me and my body. I'll find out...

Really good tempo run @ 7:15pm. From my house to Headwater and Main Loop minus the big hills and back. Turned out to be a nice evening... :)
