Lucky Three: 3 Hours / 30k / 300m Climb: Durham Trails Grand Tour,
I think this was the longest trail run I have done entirely in the town of Durham. This was LMD (Long Medium Tempo Distance), but quite sustainable. Could have easily added more miles, had I taken more "fuel" with me. Very dry and cool morning. Only drank 16 oz of Perpetuem and ate 1/2 Kind bar, and it all felt very comfortable. (6 min brake chatting w. Eric N. at mile 1.5.)

First Kayak Outing of the Season
Pathetic but true. Hope to get a few more in before the river starts to freeze. Windy and pleasantly cool. Saw 2 herons, 9 turtles, a bunch of ducks, and 2 birds of prey (vultures?) gliding gliding high above.

Trail running 36:52 intensity: (24 @0) + (32 @1) + (4:06 @2) + (14:53 @3) + (16:57 @4) 4.21 mi (8:45 / mi) +79m 8:17 / mi

Pre-Dinner Trail Jaunt
My usual: WU then up-tempo - trying to spike the hills and relax on the flats and downs. Refreshing and already cold along the river. Almost collided with a Mt biker. Who was more serious: He or I ?

Goldham Ranch Wedn Run
Finally the air is breathable again. Looks like we shrunk permanently to the JET trio.

Trailing around in the neighborhood (8 miler)
Some hill bounding here and there. I did not want to venture too far away. Light drizzle during the last 3 miles, which was extremely refreshing.
I can soon celebrate 1000 miles on my OnCloudflows.

7 Miler Trail "Work Loop" Shakeout
Rt hip and quads felt heavy after the long weekend of hauling stuff out and back through the woods and from orienteering. But after mile 3, everything was just feeling normal, so started to chase the 10 minute pace and then later the 9 minute pace. Didn't quite make it but good enough for a Monday morning.

Pawtuckaway Camping Weekend: Wrap-Up 1
Collecting 12 controls from yesterday's Nat. Ranking Event and Long Wicked Hard Night-O. Very humid out. Pawtuck Woods were magic as always. Was able to run back with 5 stands, and backpack fulll of flags, reflector sticks etc.

Pawtuck Camping Weekend: Sunday Event Brown Course
I felt good after my control pickup, so decided to quickly get in to O-gear to run the Brown: Short but Technical.
Had 1 big route mistake (~ 3 minutes) to 3 as I drifted northward skirting a logging cut (forgot to doublecheck with compass ! Grrr), but then was speeding up for the rest and ended up winning the course by 1.5 minutes.
