Running 35:27 intensity: (18:27 @1) + (17:00 @2) 3.45 km (10:17 / km) +4m 10:13 / km

Barefooting, grounding, earthing on the pitches. Was perfection. Almost zero people, almost zero breeze, glorious blue skies, dew on the grass, ground was soft and forgiving yet not slidey.

Really enjoyed this. Is that my first time really running barefoot? Felt very strange starting out, then by the time I was putting my vivos back on I felt overdressed.

In total 2 x 5 minutes barefoot and the rest was in vivos (off-roading).

ROI new rules say all exercise is to be within 2km of the home. We don't have that yet, but it seems parks are super-busy this morning (and it's still early enough), so more restrictions are bound to come. I've just found out I have 2 parks fully within my 2km zone, if something similar were to happen here. I reallllly hope people behave, so that it doesn't need to be any more restrictive than that.

Strength & Conditioning (Pilates ) 30:00 [1]

3 of my own "at home" workouts from the past fortnight -damn I'm good lol.
It really helps when I know it's a defined workout, not a random open-ended one.
Getting good feedback from clients too. It's gonna be such a lonnnnnnng road ahead tho. How long till we can teach again? And, even more, how long till clients feel safe with touch and shared equipment etc? How long till clients have ££ to spend on Pilates classes?
One day at a time. Going for a trot and some barefoot grounding tomorrow.

Note

Went for dawn walkies this morning. Very quiet but, as with yesterday, still met someone I know!! Very difficult to stop myself petting their dog.

Good news is that days are getting longer, the window of walkies opportunity is growing.

I might be uber weird tomorrow and go barefoot walking on the football pitches. It'll be a while before I get sand between my toes, so I'll try mud between my toes instead.

Hopefully no dog shit.

Strength & Conditioning (Wildfoot) 30:00 [1]

Wildfoot At Home. Finally got the awful internet to work, with the door open and the iPad approx 90cm from the alleged booster box.

So I missed a stack of mobility but it was good to see faces, and Cathy's dog Riley joined in too. Veda weirdly didn't, but she's got plenty of time yet.
7 AM

Running 53:15 intensity: (30:00 @2) + (23:15 @3) 7.56 km (7:02 / km) +49m 6:49 / km
shoes: Saucony Peregrine Trail

Getting my Daily Exercise Allowance.

Tried to bring the dog but she was having none of it so I had to take her home (secretly as I suppose that means I had Two Exercises today).

Back is fine, after a good bit of heavy lifting & gardening yesterday.

Strength & Conditioning (Pilates) 50:00 [1]

Zoom Pilates class with Ali.

I detested it. Trying to get iPad set up, echoey sound, stupid internet kept dropping out, stupid mat had to be lengthways to the camera so I didn't have space to stretch out fully. Class was 100% mat because as soon as someone stands up they are off camera.

But I love that at least I can keep doing her Pilates classes. Not easy for anyone these days.

Next week I might put the camera by the door end so that it's only 1 metre from the WiFi booster instead of a frankly ridiculous 3 metres (*sarcasm)

Even if I have to turn the camera off, if I can get uninterrupted audio I'll know what we're doing.

Note

Bloody hell Boris.

I'm so glad I got a couple of hikes in. Bye bye mountains.

Strength & Conditioning 1:00:00 [1]

Some Pilates (actually quite a bit) and some fake Wildfooting.
