shoes: Montrail Badrock

Did this on trails today. Somewhat of a mixed up week. This weekend is our 12th Annual Beer Festival. I spent the day at the field helping set up. This allowed for only a shorter run today. I was somewhat apprehensive to do a long run and then hill workout. It was great. My legs were responsive to the speed and felt great. Check out our site! www.lighthousebeerfestival.com
Hope your travels are super fun!

Running (Run 2 ) 1:00:00 [3] 8.2 mi (7:19 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Progrid Guide

2 mile warm up with strides. 30 minutes at 6:44 pace. Had to stop for a minute around 17 minutes to have a sneeze attack and blow my nose. The lady next to me was wearing a ton of perfume and apparently is a smoker. Wowee. Stinky and caused a sneeze attack. Running on a tm while sneezing is impossible. I challenge anyone to try and not fall off. Made a quick recovery and finished. I managed to hit pause on the tm instead of stop. Thank goodness. 15 minute cool down. Lifted legs and upper body. I forgot to count my stride last week so I did today while running a 6:44 pace. It was 44 steps for :30 seconds at 6:44. I'm sure it's way different when I am on the road running my own speed. Will do again later this week. Meeting friends to run for an hour tomorrow on trails.
