5th overall (Holly Clifford, Fran/Des, Me/Anna W-P, Philippa)

Loved this. Definitely one of the more enjoyable nav legs I've done as it didn't have any of the usual sadistic straight up the hill legs and was actually very runnable.
Course was very easy, recce definitely helped in the last section. Only thing I would do differently is to stay on the path longer to #2. Anna and I were well matched and worked well together, passing lots of teams throughout to set us out about 5mins down on 3rd but unfortunately Philippa ran out of track to get there in time.

Recce with Jonny

Checking out how to approach the final contouring path around Barrow, and also the long contour across Causey Pike to a sheepfold. Confirmed the theory that south side = bad, north side = good.

Late starting due to a really slow journey up in the storm, so the final descent was getting pretty dark.
