Have been rested from running for almost 4 weeks with what I suspect to be a groin strain. Have been in discomfort from it and even trying to jog on a treadmill hurt after 1 minute. I have been cycling to work as a substitute for the last 2 weeks.
So, after a weekend in Le Mans and a day off I decided to risk going for a run upto CP Park, 1 lap of the park run course and back home. It was a nice afternoon and it didn't have any twinges from the groin just felt likeI had lost quite a bit of running fitness. In the main I felt OK which is encouraging.
