Ez out to Sherwood.
V humid but not too bad out. Got tired on the way back, not enough energy bc didn't have a proper breakky beforehand and also just bc muscles are not used to so long at the moment and also just generally tired.
Saw an epic treehouse in a garden!
4 PM

Swimming 39:41 [2] 2.0 km (19:51 / km)

Getting cold! And there was no hot water left in the showers after so took me forever to defrost :(

9 AM

Running warm up/down 12:58 [2] 2.21 km (5:52 / km)
shoes: Brooks Ghost 13 Lavender

Running intervals 26:05 [5] 4.15 km (6:17 / km)
shoes: Brooks Hyperion

8 x 400m at the track with 2mins walk rest.
Core felt weak and legs did too. Form very inward and think I was overstraining a bit. Need to open up shoulders and straighten up to run taller and then keep legs under me and increase cadence and use arms more. Pretty warm out and hungrier than I had expected but I guess I didn't eat enough breakky and it was a long time since it anyway.
Didn't really know what time to aim for since it has been so long and found it hard to stay consistent.
Big headwind down the final straight. Tried to start less fast after the first 3 and instead speed up later but the headwind didn't really make that work too well, but I guess I was putting in more effort at the end even if it didn't translate to speed.
Need to run with others so I can push myself better but not sleeping enough to feel good about going to training so early and still being able to make it through a full day without a nap.
But good to get it done, have to start somewhere. Lots to learn from today.
Splits: 86, 89, 91, 89, 91, 88, 90, 87.

Running warm up/down 10:40 [2] 2.01 km (5:18 / km)
shoes: Brooks Ghost 13 Lavender

12 PM

Swimming 30:01 [2] 1.55 km (19:22 / km)

In the 25m pool bc the big one is still closed because of the murkiness from Sunday ://
Lost count after about 15 laps and got a bit dizzy from all the turns.
Much warmer in this pool which was actually super nice today bc I was freezing before I hopped in because I had been sitting in the shade watching my lecture just before.
6 PM

Strength + Conditioning 1:10:00 [2]

Home weights - this bar is a lot lighter than the one at the gym.
Lots of stuff, I expect to be sore tomorrow.

Easy around the loop. Massive moon tonight, very cool as it rose above the mountain.
Bit tired so took the short option and can do a longer one another day.

Swimming 1:11:54 [2] 3.7 km (19:26 / km)

Ez, felt good.
Pool a bit cloudy and very crowded but always nice and calm at the end when no one else is left in the pool.
Had planned longer but got to the pool later than planned so didn't have enough time before it closed.
Nice sunset driving home.
