Cycling 4:17:00 [3] 80.53 mi (3:11 / mi)

As part of this IM training build, been trying to listen to the body and really go by feel. Two weeks ago, or four weeks out from IM Florida, I was tired, sore, and pretty tight in the legs. Decided to ease up a bit to three weeks out, and then hit it fairly hard this week. This ride started off pretty bad, as I felt sluggish, tired, and just didn't have much power in the legs. At about 60 miles, I really started to feel great. Not sure what was going on, but it was a great mental boost that I needed. Took the Fairfield route through Volo all the way to Fox Lake. Did a check-in for water and the car at about 3 hours, then headed towards Barrington Hills and did one last trip down by the Fox River. Did one loop of Braeburn on the way back too. This ride proves there is a 112 mile bike in the legs two weeks from now. Just gotta get my back sorted out.
