Fun training with Pam. Did an exercise where you memorize a leg and run it without the map while the other person follows along and plans the next leg. I got better once I actually started remembering what my attack point was and the feature the control was on. :)

Score O at Shubie Park in Dartmouth. Fairly thick forests. Pam and I were racing it like a point to point, and I accidentally went to one in the wrong order, so I went back and corrected it (as if it was a point to point). Compass work was good and flow was fine for most of the course. Need to work on having more consistent attackpoints.

On treadmill. Was supposed to do 6 x 3 minutes with 3 minutes recovery (I think at zone 4). Absolutely exhausted. In the past three days, I've spent 16 hours in the car on the highway in between work interviews and haven't been able to eat very well in the small towns of the Maritimes. I decided to just try to do the best I could tonight.

First 3 intervals at 7.8 mph
Last 3 intervals at 7.4 mph
First recovery at 5.0 mph
Last 4 recoveries at 3.5 mph

10 minute warm up at 6.0 mph
6 minutes at 5.0 and 4 minutes at 3.5 for cool down.

Incline 2.0

Forgot to start my Garmin. Was suppose to be a 5km run, but the lady who planned it forgot to switch from miles to km so it was really a 5 mile run. Struggling today, not sure why.
