Note

Always scary when a wildfire is named the same thing as an Orienteering Map. The Sabiston Creek fire near Savona (just outside Kamloops) has the same name as the area used to host the 2014 Westerns. The fire is currently 100 hectares (250 acres), but is well outside the mapped area which is good.

Note

Making the news in Whitehorse, as the 8th place finisher in their Inaugural sprint series where best 4 of 5 races count. I made it to one race...

Its really weird living in a town where the Official Community Plan takes into account where the best orienteering terrain is and planned around it, and regular events make the local news.
