So so nice to get out on the road instead of the trainer for 3 hours! Couple roads are still quite sandy, had to walk down steep hill on Twiss near Camp Manitou that was covered in about an inch of sand.
Still need to work on my hydration/nutrition on long efforts, got a bad side stitch towards the end and thought I'd have to skip my planned brick run, but it subsided enough to get the run in.
I have a panic attack when I think of the 2100m of climbing on the Placid course, I better do those 10 hill repeats on 6th line with DD!

I had to keep checking my Garmin as I felt like I was going so slow but watch said otherwise. Need to practice slowing down my pace on brick sessions as that pace will not be sustainable over a marathon!
