上には上がいる。

自分の主観的な頑張り具合しか考えていないと、本番で痛い目を見るかもしれない。

自分はなかなか時間が取れなかったりする中で(自分の中では)頑張ってきたけれど、それは必ずしも絶対的なものではない。勝つ為にその努力量で足りているのか?
結果が出てくるまで分からない。
けれど、ロングセレまでの自分よりは確実に速くなっている。
その自信だけはある。

もしかすると、その自信さえあれば十分なのかもしれない。
オリエンテーリングを続けていく中で、思ったような結果が出ずにフェードアウトしていく人は必ずいるけれど、自分とそういう人たちの違いはそこにあるのかもしれない。
なんだかんだ続けてみて、自分の進歩が感じとれる間は大丈夫。インカレミドルリレー後に感じていた絶望感は今の所払拭されつつあるけれど、いつまたそれが出てくるか不安だ。
