We had a good group of us working together today. The past few workouts we've done at the Italian Hall I have let the others go and fallen off the back end. Today I used the others to get the most out of myself. I got in deep after the first set and the next 2 I just constantly kept reminding myself that this is where it matters, and this is what I want, and then i would smile and charge up the hill and let out a few urghs, ahhs, and ahhhs. We ran the uphills hard and used to the downs to recover but still going at a decent clip. Ended hands on knees after set 1 and 2 and lying on someone's lawn for set 3. It was a gorgeous day out!

BF shakeout around the turf after a long day of studying, running hard, and exams. I’m feeling a little worn out mentally and in edge, but the last exam is tomorrow evening so the light at the end of the tunnel is fast approaching. My left cafe was a little bothersome after I got up from sitting down for 2.5hrs but I cupped before the shakeout and it felt better. Made sure to get a good stretch in too. I will roll, ice, and cup before bed to nip it in the bud.

Ran 25mins outside and ran almost entirely on soft surfaces j’en came inside to do barefoot with Maxie. We got talking and the next thing I knew my watch had a 1 before it and I was at 61mins. This is the time to get in deep and work the mileage, plus I was feeling pretty good and my legs weren’t feeling awful. I saw Blake and things felt great after.

Awesome run today! It felt like I could've kept going and going. Got back to campus at 58 and ran around to get up to an hour. The day was wonderful and all the snow was melted to the soft surfaces were fully runable. Nice solo time with my thoughts.

My head felt a bit off prior to the workout but then I just focused on the moment and had an awesome tempo loop. It felt fast and flowy and lié I was grooving. Active was good and challenging I made an effort to run down people on the strides. The Brazilians were good but I think I could've gone for it more on the first brazilian and earlier laps. I got back on it for the last few especially in the final laps. I surprised myself in the 1km repeat. with 400m to go Kayla and Maxie took off and I at first let them get ahead, but I responded and ended up passing Maxie and almost getting to kayla at the end. I was proud of myself for going with them when I usually just let people go when they pass. I need to work on immediately going with them instead of having it as an after thought. The hurdle mobility and sit and push were very challenging today. I got lots out of today. Although I think I could've ran the Brazilians a bit harder, I definitely hit a wednesday effort. Excited to continue to push myself.

good workout this morning. I woke up eager to get to practice. I got less sleep than I wanted but still woke up with excitement. I got at it in the drills and really focused on the goal of each exercise. I got a lot out of the second set for the running A's and hit a new level of going for it at the end that I need to continue to tap into. HR got to 28 I want to get it to 29 next week. For the strides on the field I need to focus on bringing my heel to my butt. If I want to get faster and do better at the speed aspect of training I need effort and focus on what will help me improve.

nice run with kayla and maxie on the belrose loop. Some wicked head wind along belrose but with the company I barely noticed it and really enjoyed the run. Pace was nice and easy. I'm focusing on not getting carried away on easy days to be able to get after it properly in the workouts. I don't want to be an "off-day hero", but be able to crush it in workouts and races. I had a snack of pb, banana and toast at around 3 and 2 eggs 30mins before that and it didnt sit super well with me.

Nice run this morning. Beks didn't get my message until later, so I started a bit ahead. We were quiet at the start and then I got talking about the Boston Marathon and marathon running in general and got excited and carried away and rebekkah asked me my time it was almost 34mins so I decided to just go for the nice 35.

*also tried to weigh myself but the scale seemed broken so I don't know how precise the reading was considering it was balanced for like a 3-4lb range ~134lbs

Decent workout today. I was feeling pretty revved up from the marathon results. My legs felt a bit stiff and restrictive but I still got the work done. When I noticed my mind drifting toward unproductive thoughts I would bring them back to smiling and reminding myself that this is where it matters and thinking of the amazing gritty women that ran today. I need to remind myself to continue to get pumped up and want the hurt, the hard, the days where my legs feel heavy and know that these are the days that I will get better and the days that matter. Struggling and learning to deal with it is what will take me to the level I want to get to.

I really focused feeling the proper engagement for the deadlifts and focused on form. I asked Maxie to watch me for the presses to make sure I was going deep enough with the movement which was nice. I often times feel like I am going into a deep movement when K can go deeper so right now having the external voice and partner helps get the most out of the exercise

Pretty good run today. The footing was not great but still managed to have a good attitude despite it. A few solid ankle rolls but nothing too bad. The flat clear parts were nice in comparison. I’m looking forward to good footing. Feeling rested as well so excited to up the mileage this week. Good strength and stretch after. It was also nice to run with Kayla for the whole run and explore some sections of the park I don’t usually get to.

Had a nice shakeout this evening. I lost track of time which is always nice. Saw sam and Beks at the hangar. Ended with hip mobility. The left arch is a bit sore from the footing but didn't notice it once I got moving.
After dinner met up with Rebekkah for some rolling and an ice bath.
