Yard work 4:00:00 [3]
shoes: Saucony Excursion 11 Gortex

Drove to the cottage with Andrew. Then did tons of work for GMa Fran: basement shop-vac, checked water heater thermostats, unscrewed some shelving, general clean up.
Outside: deck scrubbed front entrance, raking, gravel-grading, carrying chairs to lake and on deck, sweeping off path to the water. Again, moving around made things better, as long as I didn’t jar the heel.
So... calf was tightening up on the trip home, but not bad.
The biking on Judy (Friday) set me back a bit. The heel didn’t like it and I don’t think my R knee was very happy either.

Strength & Stretch 40:00 [3]
shoes: Saucony Peregrine

The usual, without the ROTS part. Added PF stretches. Using the shiatsu foot massage machine with heat has really helped treat the PF, so am using it 4-5 times per day.

Cycling 1:40:00 [3] 30.0 km (3:20 / km)
shoes: Saucony Excursion 11 Gortex

Took the Schwinn (Judy) out for a spin with Francis on Purp. Went out along the Watt’s Creek loop to Penfield, with a detour to check out the MB trail off Carling Ave at Burke Rd - muddy ja!
Slow going along Britannia due to flood berms, as we par-cycled along the little paths in theneighbourhood.
Judy is heavy, dude.

Walking 1:40:00 [2] 6.83 km (14:38 / km)
shoes: Saucony Excursion 11 Gortex

Walk along river with Sandra, being mindful about gait and stopping to stretch at several points. PF intermittently there and not there. It’s hard to walk slowly!

Strength & Stretch 45:00 [3]
shoes: Saucony Peregrine

Wore my Saucony Peregrines to do this session. Left out the running-on-the-spot part. Fewer skate-ski lunges, and did them more slowly. Added new AthleanX calf stretches and towel crunches with my toes. Need to buy a bag of marbles!
Heads Will Roll playlist helped a lot today :)

Coaching 1:00:00 [3] 2.0 km (30:00 / km)
shoes: Saucony Excursion 11 Gortex

HTandE with the FUNdamentals kids. Wore my Saucs to see if they would be better for the PF. They were OK, but the PF is BAD. Tomorrow I start working more on stretches and other recommended exercises for PF. No running allowed :(
Right knee still whacked out from clip-shoeing out too many times during last week’s RALF cycling workout. Man... I think I’ve come close -really close- to tearing that medial ligament further. Gotta watch that. Sore behind the knee; lateral tenderness is subsiding, tho’.
