well the half term has not set off great training wise, scottish champs was fun but then experienced the standard post-race weekend mental crash on monday which dragged into tuesday and now today. Obviously there’s other factors as well but they all mean that running doesn’t sound enjoyable at the moment, barely been able to drag myself out of bed never mind the front door to go for a run. Mentally just exhausted all of the time and i don’t really know what’s wrong with me.

Scottish Relays - 2nd 14+ points
1st leg, did fine nav wise only one small routechoice error but just was running so slowly as i have no hill strength at all, not ran enough on the fells this year as it’s so much easier to just go out from home especially cos schools been hard work this year. Not really an excuse though i just am very slow atm especially through terrain ah well. Enjoyed the course tho!

scottish champs - 2nd W16
ahhh didn’t enjoy this it was wet and green. Set off really well and in control making sure i took accurate bearings, was leading until #3 where i faffed around on the paths after exiting #3 and binned 2mins here, then another min at the end of the leg at #4. Then was good in green to #5 and enjoyed #6,7,8,9 but wasn’t running as hard as i should’ve, i wasn’t really in the right head space to race today at all really. Then could’ve cried at the grimness of #10,11,12,13. Binned so much time at each one and couldn’t really be bothered anymore because i was sick of crawling through the green stuff so just was a half hearted effort today.
