Orienteering race (Sprint - Urban) 12:10 [4] 2.63 km (4:38 / km)

French Southern Championships Day 1
Sprint around a technically easy town centre but still some route choices to be made. No mistakes but took it easy around some corners as it was fairly slippery in some places. Felt good physically with a good warm-up and no stitches or anything like that.
Map later.

S&C 40:00 [3]

Using more of the equipment in the school gym, testing out what I can do there.

Running 20:31 [3] 4.0 km (5:08 / km)

Just a short Green Lane loop, keeping the legs moving. Got a stitch early on for some reason, shouldn't be a problem but I'll keep a look out.

Orienteering race 35:55 [4] 4.6 km (7:48 / km)

CompassSport SE Heats at Balcombe Estate: a mixture of open fields and patches of extremely muddy woodland. Good race, only being weighed down by all of the mud! No major mistakes, only losing 30 seconds on #5, due to being confused between depressions along a small slope. No physical problems, did a good warm-up which helped.
Came 2nd behind Stan H by 4mins which isn't too bad but still could have made up some time with faster running.
