This was an orienteering event that used a rogaining map and format. Because a rogaine was being conducted (course set by one of our club members) in the area on the same day as a local orienteering event, the club decided to offer a 2 hour version of the existing 6 and 12 hour rogaines, particularly for people who had not yet tried this version of navigation sports. I went along and teamed with one of our 15 year old girls who is part of the club's junior development group. We ran most of the way and between us didn't make too many errors (I was more inclined to make mistakes because I was more decisive in the team). I think we were both pleased to have found 9 controls and covered the distance in 2 hours. Thanks Leisha!
