Cross Country Skiing 1:00:00 [0]

Easy skate, Cascade to bi side. Early before it got too mushy. Still surprisingly soft and sugary.

Cross Country Skiing 1:15:00 [0]

Easy classic from Cascade over to bi side. Too slick at Cascade and too soft at van Ho but skin skis a good compromise for both.

Cross Country Skiing 2:00:00 [0]

Classic from Cascade over to Van Ho. Biggest snowfall of the season - about 16" at our place - and great grooming, especially at van Ho where they used the PB on the biathlon side for the first time. Though David reported that they did a 2nd pass later and dug up a lot of muck and dirt. Temps around freezing so snow packed and glazed quickly but skin skis were perfect.

Note

Had planned to fly out to Cincinnati for the Flying Pig this weekend and though we managed to get to the airport in Montreal (after a 6 hour nerve wracking drive through heavy snow and howling winds) found that all flights were delayed or cancelled. By early afternoon things started moving a little but we couldn't find a flight that would get us to Cincinnati for under $1799 until Saturday so reluctantly left and drove back to LP. So disappointed to miss the event as it's one of our favourites but we have a full weekend of shoveling and skiing ahead. And credit to Air Canada who did their best to find a flight for us and ended up giving us a full refund even though we'd booked through Expedia.
