Swim 45:00 [3] 1.85 km (24:19 / km)

Made the last half of masters swimming after spending over an hour shovelling out the driveway. A surprise 30 cm of snow is not too shabby.

Downhill Skiing 30:00 [1]

Afternoon at the hill. Getting tracked out but found some good snow in North Bowl.

Run 18:00 [2] 3.0 km (6:00 / km)
shoes: Asics GT 2130

Just a short run with the dog.

Run 26:00 [2] 4.5 km (5:47 / km)
shoes: Asics GT 2130

Easy run on the greenbelt with the dog. I am already way behind on the running... it might be impossible given how much skiing I plan to do.

Stretching/yoga 25:00 [1]

Energy video.

Backcountry skiing 4:00:00 [3] +1325m

Very nice day up Connaught in Ursus Trees with Courtney, Steve, Katie and Sara. Surprisingly I was breaking trail up the valley from the Grizzly slide path despite our 9 am departure. A nice horde followed us up though - it seemed busy for a Tuesday but most of the permit areas were closed. Nice snow - second best day for snow quality this year.

Skate ski 40:00 [3] 8.0 km (5:00 / km)

Master's ski - first night so not much skiing but more time getting organized. The conditions were rather dicey anyway - refrozen icy snow. Did a couple roadway rambles with the dog and then many laps of the sprint loop.

Begbie Shoulder solo with the sled.

Telemark skiing 30:00 [3]

Couple hours at the hill. Legs are feeling stronger even after just one day of tele turns at the hill. Surprisingly tired afterwards though. For the past 5 days I feel like I need 10 hours of sleep a day. Must be fighting something.

Classic ski 1:27:00 [3] 20.0 km (4:21 / km)

Despite my fatigue motivated myself to go and ski. Warm again but this time light snow falling. Great grip with the Zeros however they seem to ice up a little when there is more fresh snow on the track. I think I need to track down some of the de-icing spray. Only an issue on the trails that had seen less traffic though and only going uphill. Chest quite sore from yesterday - shows that I don't do pushups often.
