Tamarancho. First time orienteering in a month. Disaster for control 2. 41 minutes for a 3 minute control. Guessed I just stopped too soon, and was determined to make the spur I was on the conrrect one, even though it wasn't. Basically can't run at all anymore.

Was a little concerned before I started that I was getting some tendinits in my knee, but that was OK. However, I developed a bad blister on my 1st metatarsal head on my left foot. Don't know why, because I wore those shoes about a week ago without any problem. Really hot, about 100 degrees. First hot day all summer.

Bayfront Park. Orange course with no trails mapped. Sort of fun. Still pretty simple since the park is so open. Didn't really make any mistakes, except perhaps a poor route choice to 1. Probably should have stayed on the trail. Even so, came in 13th out of 27, 5 minutes behind Bob Cooley. Just don't have any running speed anymore.
