scheduled rest day.

woke up at 4a and couldn't go back to sleep... brain kicked on.

Note

Can't decide whether to do the WT O-meet tomorrow morning. Normally, I'd definitely go, but running the hills at WT for two hours at race effort seems questionable a week before TH50.

Schedule calls for a 90 minute E run.

Could go and take it easy. But then, most of my turned ankles have happened while moving slowly, not at a race effort. And planning to take it easy, and actually doing so is another issue.

easy tour through kirkwood.

samples of #itsthenerve arrived yesterday. tried one this morning prior to the run to make sure no digestive upset occurred. No problems. The big question remains: will it prevent cramps?

was supposed to do a 7 mile 3x2 @ M but got it backwards. Did a 2x3 @ M (7:13)...

Forest Park at lunch. Pleasant day for a run.

1 - 3.01m - 21:36 - 152 ahr
2 - 3.01m - 21:56 - 153 ahr --- had to wait for traffic a couple times so actual time was probably a touch fast.

Two laps at Forest Park.

It feels a bit odd for a two hour run to seem short.

It was pouring at 5:45 this morning so I went back to sleep for another hour... so I started a bit late. The park was pretty empty. No rain but a cold wind out of the north.

Time includes a 6 minute break for pit stop and shoe change. Also changed out the tights for shorts.
