Badminton 1:00:00 [3]

Had an optional practice with the juniors since the seniors were at a tournament and they'd already played twice this week and almost all of them came. It was great only having half the team there as I was able to do about 10mins of individual practice and a game with each of them. They are all improving so much that I need to work pretty hard to still beat them. A couple close calls but I can still dominate the juniors.

Running (road) 40:00 [2]

Out with Mr Mo & Skyler to the island park bridge & back to his place.

Soccer (indoor) 40:00 [4]

What a game! Played the second best team and we clobbered them 7-4. I got two goals and an assist in the first 3 minutes of the game. The other team was yelling at each other for starting off flat. So fun to hear people swear in french!

Biking (road) 2:00:00 [2]

Bike paths around Colorado Springs to meet up with Sher at the Red Rocks. Super hot out so I took a couple shade breaks.

Trekking 1:00:00 [1]

Loopdy doodle around the red rocks with Sher.

Trekking 5:00:00 [2]

Not often would I put a 2 for trekking but all it takes is super steep incline for the first hour, then 1 foot of fresh snow for the next 3 hours to get the heart a pumping. I set out towards Pike's peek and made it to the base camp for lunch. Only 3 people had broken trail since the big snow fall so it was like hiking in a snowbank for most of the day. The weather was gorgeous and there were so many birds at the camp eager to help me eat my lunch. Ran down the last bit at then end of the day.

In trying to cut down on luggage I only brought 1 pair of shoes. Next time I will splurge with 2 so that I can enjoy dry foot wear when I'm finished my adventures.

Running (road) 2:00:00 [3]

Colorado is very pretty and extremely hilly! Went on mapquest aerial view to find some green spots around the house. I ran towards this big park but unfortunately it took me 1 hour to get there so I got there looked and quickly turned around to get back in time for the nightly Lattermore activities.

After one session with Dr Geoff my knee was much better. No pain until exactly the 2 hour mark and then I needed to walk. Luckily I was almost home. More sessions when I get back.

Snowboarding 2:00:00 [3]

MARCH BREAK!!!! Love it. Last minute trip out to Colorado Springs to visit my friend Sheri & family. Long day of travelling on Saturday but 19 hours after leaving Montreal I safely arrived at Keystone. The snow conditions were perfect for me. Just the right amount of powder to keep me happy. My legs were on fire most of the day.

Running (trail) 50:00 [3]

Out will the puppy running in the slushy bike trails to get to frat's house. Skyler ran out of steam by the time we needed to cross island park bridge so I needed to bribe her along with promises of milkbones & chew sticks.

XC Skiing (skate) 1:00:00 [3]

Mr Mo, La Femme and I did some field skiing out near Wakefield before going to a show at the Black Sheep. It was reallllly fun and fast and dark and dipsy douddly.

Badminton 1:00:00 [3]

Not many kids out at practice today so I got to play all the top players one-on-one. It was hard work trying to work on the student's weaknesses (clears, backhand, drop shots) while still ensuring I win. Ms Soucy had my number today and did win a game...

XC Skiing (classic) 3:00:00 [2]

The grade 10 outdoor ed class was great. I got to take the lead and push the pace with two students then we'd need to wait for the rest of the group. Fun bunch and no injuries even on icy Burma.

Badminton 30:00 [2]

Made the team today so I needed to chat a lot more than play.

Soccer (indoor) 50:00 [4]

Holly crap what a hard game. This team passed like super stars and we just ran and ran and ran. One sub but then there was an injury so we were dying. Lots of goals. We had four but they had many more.

XC Skiing (skate) 1:00:00 [3]

Super crusty and rutty snow but La Femme, Mr Mo and I were determined to get at least a couple more skis in this year.
